The convertible version of the F-Type was revealed in Sundance, London and a presentation followed shortly after a the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Whilst the other version which is the coupe was unveiled in 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and 2013 Tokyo Auto Show followed by 2013 Jaguar Academy Sport Annual Awards which is an exclusive event held in Canary Wharf, London. One would say that that is a lot of revealing for a car, but lets face it, there is a lot to reveal with this car. The looks and the engines available is mind boggling.
The F-Type is agile, powerful and distinctive sports car that is engineered for high performance and responsive handling.

FACTS CORNER
- Jaguar was once aquired by Ford in 1990 up until 2008 when the ownership shifted to Indian brand TATA Motors.
- Before becoming an automobile manufacturer, Jaguar was a Swallow Sidecar Company for motor bikes - 1922
- The name 'Jaguar' as we know it today was adopted in 1945 from 'Swallow Sidecar Company'.
- In 1992 Jaguar produced the World fastest car in that time and it was the XJ220.
- According to European standards the ''leaping cat'' poses a threat to safety issues and there has been many debates about it. In case you were not aware the leaping cat is the chrome mascot usually found on Jaguar's vehicle.
- Strange yes but there is word out there that Jaguar's engineers tests the NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) level up to speeds of 766 mph.
- Jaguar has the best valets on earth. When they load cars onto trains Jaguar uses a fleet of drivers specifically selected and insanely careful that they do not wear any accessories that might leave even a micro mark on the car (such as; they do not wear belts, have no buckles and they even remove the metal shoelace eyelets from their sneakers, so as not to scratch anything). The outside of the car is also never actually touched by them.
