The fourth generation Impreza was unveiled in the year 2011 at the New York International Auto Show. This new model is lighter and more fuel efficient than the previous model despite the fact that it is packing more in-spite off size and gadgets. The car itself went on sale in 2012. In the 2014 Chicago Auto Show Subaru introduced their new Legacy which happened to be the sixth generation model, and later went into production as a 2015 model year. Available as can be seen are two engines being offered by this Japanese Automaker, both of them are flat boxer engines. The luxury of having all-wheel drive comes as standard across the range available. The transmission available is a CVT lineartronic in order to further increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. The Legacy is targeting competitors such as the Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord etc, with its plush and roomy interior. Surely from the outside when comparing the design cues from the this new model to the previous model, it has gone a little bit softer/rounder around the edges but all the time still looking quite attractive. But as mentioned before, Subaru enthusiast fear not, all-wheel drive is still present and standard and the other distinctive opposing cylinder engine layouts.

The fourth model Subaru Forester was firstly introduced at the 2012 Guangzhou Motor Show and later on during the 2013 New York Auto Show. Sales started early in November 2012 but only in Japan whilst in the US sales began in March 2013 the following year after it was released in Japan. Something more exiting that Subaru has introduced in the new model is the (X MODE), its a new feature available on the Forester.
The basic concept of the X Mode is to allow drivers whomever they are, be it a simple novice or a more skillful one to be able to drive the car better and safer on wet roads or on muddy surfaces. So technically the X Mode is a feature that allows you to go just a little bit further or should i say to be able to go through more extreme situations both on and off-road safely at all times.
It is activated by only a push of the button and it controls power going to all four wheels and cuts or gives power as and when required, however the X Mode will only work up to speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) then it automatically disengages itself in order to protect its component. This feature will become especially important when you catch one of your wheels slipping freely as it will seize torque to that wheel and transfer it to another one which has grip.

The BRZ is a sports car that has been jointly developed by both Subaru and Toyota and is sold worlwide under three very different names all depending on the country.
